Here is what happens to the information you share with Build A Pitch That Sticks.
What you give us
You may type a networking goal, answers to guided questions, an existing pitch, or extra context. The tool uses those words to create a pitch and review notes. If you create an account, you provide an email address and password and may provide a name; you can also choose Google sign-in. Account information is handled by the sign-in service.
How the AI uses your words
When you use the guided conversation or generate or revise a pitch, the relevant answers, conversation, draft and context are sent through Lovable AI to Google Gemini 2.5 Flash to produce and review the result. You can try the prewritten example without sending your own answers. Please do not enter confidential information or personal information about other people. We cannot state how long the AI or hosting providers keep their own request records.
What is stored
Your working conversation, draft, extracted facts and generated pitch are kept in this browser tab’s session storage. They are not saved as a pitch in your account unless you sign in and choose “Save to my account.” A session generally lasts until you close the tab, though your browser may restore tabs and their data. Your browser also remembers your consent choice and date and your light or dark theme preference in local storage; sign-in uses persistent browser storage to keep you signed in.
If you choose to save a pitch, your account stores its title, generated package, conversation messages, and any original draft and extra context, along with its sharing setting and creation/update dates. Your account also has a profile with a display name and usage fields. Saved pitches stay in the account until you delete them or ask us about removing your account. The app does not create a separate anonymous usage or event record in its own database. This does not rule out ordinary service or error logs kept by hosting, sign-in or AI providers; we do not set their retention periods here.
Sharing and downloads
Saved pitches are private by default. If you switch on a share link, anyone with that link can read the pitch until you switch sharing off or delete it. Downloading a PDF, Word or Markdown file saves a copy on your device; copying a pitch puts it on your clipboard. Those copies are yours to manage.
How to remove your data
Use “Start Over” on your pitch to clear the current working session, or clear this site’s browser storage to remove the session, consent, theme and saved sign-in state on this device. In “My Pitches,” use “Delete” to remove an individual saved pitch or switch off its share link. There is no self-service account-deletion button in the app. For an account or privacy request, email customersarelikefish@gmail.com.
